Kathmandu, Feb. 23: Former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has suggested the government to discipline the administrative mechanism of the country.
In his address to the second annual general meeting of the National Micro Entrepreneurs Federation Nepal on Saturday, he cautioned the government to punish the non-performing office-bearers and employees as well as those abusing the authority. "The State would be weakened if the anarchy was not checked. There is no sense of fear at the moment. There is no feeling that wrongdoers would get punished", asserted Nepal, who is also the senior leader of Communist Party of Nepal.
Stressing the need to develop the culture of listening more, he said, "The State should make arrangement for study, investigation, monitoring, evaluation and punishment".
Without corruption control people would not receive services easily and country would not move ahead in the run-up to prosperity, he said
Also speaking on the occasion, Federation Chairperson Naresh Katwal voiced complaint for non-cooperation from the government to encourage micro entrepreneurs. RSS
