Dhanusha, Jan. 25: Six attendants of a wedding procession were killed when a bus they were travelling to caught a nude electric wire in Dhanusha on Friday. The deceased have yet to be identified.
Superintendent of Police (SP) of Dhanusha, Govinda Thapaliya, informed that the incident took place when the bus (Na 5 Kha 1752) heading towards Baltiya Kothiya of Dhanusha from Dudhauli municipality of Sindhuli carrying wedding attendants touched 11,000 voltage power supply line at Baltiya Kothiya of Sabaila municipality.
Other passengers who were injured in the incident have been taken to Janakpur Zonal Hospital. The bus was ferrying a total of 40 passengers. RSS
