Kathmandu, Feb. 24: Funds worth Rs. 5 million was raised from the Srimad Bhagwat Saptaha Gyan Mahayagya organised with the objective of collecting funds for construction of a stadium in Goldhunga of Kathmandu.
The 'Sudarshan Goldhunga memorial stadium' is to be constructed in memory of late congress leader Sudarshan Acharya by the Goldhunga Sports Society. Acharya was the founding chair of the society.
The Society owns 75 ropani of land in Goldhunga and it will be used to build the stadium, according to Secretary of the Society Devendra Aryal. The Mahayagya concluded on Saturday. RSS
