Inaruwa, Jan. 26: Some 155 literacy classes have come into operation in Sunsari from Thursday.
Total 155 literacy classes have come into operation in Sunsari headquarters Inaruwa, six rural municipalities, four municipalities and two sub-metropolises.
District Education Officer Khagendra Prasad Subedi shared the information that literacy class and continuous learning class have started under the non-formal education with support from the District Education Office.
According to Sunsari District Education Office, the classes have been conducted through 21 community learning centres located in different areas.
The classes will benefit as many as 3,100 people. RSS
