Fanney Khan: Atul Manjrekar Opens up on Aishwarya And Rajkummar's Pairing


Mumbai, Aug. 3: Indian Filmmaker Atul Manjrekar’s film Fanney Khan featuring actors Anil KapoorRajkummar Rao and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has released today. The film was in the limelight for many reasons and one among them was the unconventional pairing of Aish and Rajkummar. The filmmaker talked about various aspects of the movie in an exclusive interview with the leading entertainment portal, He stated that it was a wonderful experience for him as all the actors were very professional.

Aishwarya is seen playing a popular singer Baby Singh in the movie whereas Rajkummar essays the role of Anil’s friend Adhir. There are many romantic moments between these two characters in the movie. Talking about Aishwarya, the director was quoted as saying, “When I was making a character sketch it was like, she is the most beautiful woman in the country, with the perfect voice and she is an amazing dancer.”

Atul stated that Rajkummar was the natural fit to the character adding that he is endearing and people would just want to cuddle him. He went on to talk about the title Fanney Khan and stated that it came from the word ‘Fankaar’.

“I believe that there’s a Fanney Khan in every human being and it is their dreams that sets them apart”, Manjrekar added.

The trailer of Fanney Khan received positive response from cinema lovers. The box office numbers will be out in few hours and then people will know if the film has spelled magic.
