12/10/2017

MUMBAI, Dec. 10: Blenders Pride Fashion Tour 2017 reached the city of Mumbai on Saturday night, dazzling the city with the most definitive expression of style and good taste in its 13th edition. The evening was a spectacular affair with glamorous and inventive designs showcased by ace designer Tarun Tahiliani to the eclectic beats presented by Midival Punditz ft. Mame Khan and Malini Awasthy with Mumbai Strings at Grand Hyatt, Mumbai. Sonam Kapoor enthralled the audiences, looking stunning in a Tarun Tahiliani design.

The core theme of Blenders Pride Fashion Tour 2017 is ‘Style : More than you Think’ – a celebration of the authenticity and uniqueness of style, which is all about breaking stereotypes and defying conventions by showing to the world that there is more to one’s style which the world doesn’t know about. Talking about his collection, ace designer Tarun Tahiliani said, “The collection represents a bohemian rhapsody, inspired by the beauty of nomadic tribes mingled with Mughal armory-inspired art. A multitude of designs, like laser etching, zardozi, resham-thread embroidery, aari work, fringing and velvet accents are twisted with contemporary silhouettes on rich fabrics. Blenders Pride Fashion Tour 2017 is the perfect platform to showcase this collection as it echoes style as ‘More Thank You think’.”

His muse Sonam Kapoor, wore a beautiful pastel gown, with sparkles all over it and looked like a million bucks! Check out the pictures of the ramp temptress right here:

The actress also walked for the 12th edition, held at New Delhi last December. She looked ravishing in a Shantanu & Nikhil design.
