Godawari, Dec. 17: National Human rights Commission chair Anupraj Sharma has said that the demand of women workers in domestic level was high therefore there was no need of going abroad for job.
Speaking at a book releasing ceremony in Lalitpur on Monday, chair Sharma shared that the women workers were facing hardship and various problems abroad.
Likewise, Secretary at the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security Mahesh Raj Dahal said that the women workers were going abroad for job opportunity and most of them were victimized by the agents misusing open border.
According to the Ministry record, about 3 to 3.5 million Nepalese workers are abroad. The book titled ‘NHRC's efforts in protecting the human rights of migrant workers’ was released amid a function today. RSS
