Kathmandu, July 5: Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali has urged the Malaysian Foreign Affairs Minister Saifuddin Abdullah to remove the additional fees levied on Nepali migrant workers.
According MoFA, Minister Gyawali made a telephone call to his counterpart today and made such request. On the occasion, Minister Gyawali extended an invitation to his counterpart to visit Nepal to which the Malaysian Foreign Minister said that he would fix a date for the same through diplomatic channel.
The MoFA has further added that Minister Saifuddin Abdullah was serious regarding the issues raised by Minister Gyawali.
The Government of Nepal has initiated action against the manpower companies, who charge additional fee on the aspirant migrant workers. RSS
