Bajura, Feb. 16: A total of 95 human settlements of nine local levels in the district are reeling under high risks of natural calamities.
Chetraj Baral, Chief District Officer, shared that the District Natural Disaster Rescue Committee has already published the list of settlements at high risk and also took the decision to immediately send the information to the centre.
Out of 95 vulnerable settlements, Triveni Municipality and Badimalika Municipality are the most risky zones.
In the report disclosed by the committee, it was recommended to identify the human settlements reeling under high risks and relocate the settlement to safer areas, CDO Baral said. RSS
