Different leaders and cadres of Biplav-led group arrested

Banepa, Aug 5: Leaders of Netra Bikram Chand (Biplav)-led group in different districts have been arrested. Police have arrested Ramechhap In-charge of Biplav-led group, Yadav Dhungel, from Dhulikhel of Kavrepalanchowk district on Sunday night. Superintendent of Police Jayraj Sapkota said that Dhungel is charged of torching Ncell tower at Bhumlu in Kavre. Meanwhile, Kavrepalanchowk district members of Biplav-led group—Sundar Rayamajhi and Anil Rayamajhi have been also arrested from Panauti municipality-4 on Friday night. They have been arrested on the charge of planting improvised explosive device or IED at Panauti. Similarly in Damak, two cadres of Biplav-led group—Subas Rai, 30, and Pukar Yonjan, 28 have been arrested. Deputy Superintendent of Police at the Area Police Office, Damak, Shyamal Subba said that police seized pamphlets and receipt used to ask extortion from them. RSS
