Kathmandu, May 1: National Democratic Trade Union Federation Independent and Socialist Trade Union Federation Nepal have merged into Socialist Democratic Trade Union Federation amid a function today.
While announcing the unification, Federal Socialist Forum Nepal chair Upendra Yadav said that the unity of such unions help ensure the rights of labourers.
On another note, chair Yadav reiterated that his party will not join the government unless written agreement was made.
These unions were merged today coinciding the International Labourers Day (May1). After the unification, the new union will be led by Navraj Dahal. RSS
