Kathmandu, Aug. 12: The ruling Nepali Congress has expressed deep sorrow and sympathy over the sudden loss of life and property caused due to floods and landslide occurred in various places of the country including in Jhapa, Sindhuli, Dang and Bardiya.
According to a press release issued by the party chief secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel today, the party has demanded the government to carry out the search for the people missing in the landslide, floods and to make arrangements for the food and accommodation of the affected people.
Similarly, the party has directed its different sister organizations to support the victims and join hands in the rescue. RSS
