Surunga, Jhapa, Mar. 10 : The Tribhuvan Army Club has entered the final under the ongoing Jhapa Gold Cup Football Championship by beating Manang Marsyangdi Club 1-0.
For the Army Club's victory, national team striker Nawayug Shrestha scored a goal within two minutes of the match.
With this defeat, the defending champion Manang Marsyangdi relegated from the semifinal.
Goalkeeper of the Tribhuvan Army Club, Bikesh Kuthu, was declared man of the match. He got the cash prize of Rs 25,000.
Hosts Jhapa-11 and Tribhuvan Army Club are playing on coming Monday. The winner of the match would get the cash prize of Rs 1.2 million while the first runner up gets the half the winner. RSS
