Amargadhi, Jan. 27: Public transportation obstructed by continuous snowfall since Friday evening in seven hilly districts of the far-west has resumed from Saturday evening.
The major highways in Dadeldhura, Baitedi, Bajhang, Darchula, Doti, Accham and Bajura had been blocked by heavy snowfall since Saturday afternoon. The Bhimdutta highway in Dadeldhura was covered by around three feet high snow, especially in Melkharka, Hagulde, Sau Kharka, Bhatkada and Syaule markets.
Dozers from Budar of Doti and Amargadhi of Dadeldhura were used to clear the road following a six hour-long effort, according to DSP at the district police office, Dadeldhura Damber Bahadur KC. Nepal Police, Armed Police and Nepali Army personnel also helped in clearing the road. RSS
