Phalebas (Parbat), August 7: Minister for Youth and Sports Rajan KC has said that the campaign to construct one playground in each local-level launched by the government has taken the pace.
Speaking at a gathering of the Nepali Congress cadres in Parbat today, Minister KC said that youths are found to be losing their interest in sports lately for lack of playground.
Minister KC also assured that he would coordinate with local-level and allocate budget for the construction of each playground at all local levels in the district.
He further said that the government was determined to developing sport sector. He also urged local bodies to allocate budget and formulate policy programme, prioritising youths and sports so that youths at grass-root level would benefit.
On different note, stating that the government has the responsibility for holding provincial and federal elections within the stipulated timeframe (January 21, 2018), he urged all NC cadres to be active to make the party victorious in the polls. RSS
