Bhaktapur, Jan. 18: The government decision to name Hetauda of Makawanpur district as the temporary capital of Province No. 3 has drawn flak here.
A meeting of the stakeholders and politicians held Thursday announced the protest programmes against the government decision to name Hetauda as the province capital.
Former Minister and Member of House of Representative Mahesh Basnet said the protest programmes were announced demanding to immediately correct the government decision.
Earlier, a government formed team had suggested that the office building of Department of Education of Madhyapur Thimi would be appropriate for province office and province assembly in the Training Hall of Agriculture Development Bank at Bode, Bhaktapur.
Basnet has said that the government decision to name Hetauda as the province capital is short-sighted. RSS
