Kathmandu, Aug 8: The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has arrested two persons on charge of taking bribe from Kalanki, Kathmandu.
The CIAA took under control surveyor at Survey Office, Kalanki, Hari Oli and office assistant, Amar Lal, for taking Rs 15,000 in bribe money.
CIAA Spokesperson Rameshwor Dangal informed that the CIAA team arrested both of them from office as they were receiving the black money for preparing trace map of a land plot. Meanwhile, first class non-gazetted officer, Damodar Khatiwada, has been filed a charge sheet at Special Court demanding Rs 30,000 as the amount recovered for the loss and jail term.
He was earlier held by CIAA Itahari Office for receiving the bribe of Rs 30,000 from the service seeker for registering the tenant land on person's ownership. RSS
