Biratnagar, Oct 12: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Federal Affairs and Local Development Bijaya Kumar Gachhadar said that there was possibility of merger between Nepal Democratic Forum and Nepali Congress before the upcoming elections.
Talking to journalists at Biratnagar Airport on Thursday evening, leaders of two parties would hold intensive discussion and reach to a conclusion to that end which would result in the formation of the broader democratic alliance. He further said other fringe parties would also be the part of the alliance.
DPM Gachhadar urged all parties and stakeholders to remain confident on the timely conduction of elections to the House of Representatives and State Assemblies in the stipulated time.
He told media that the Prime Minister was preparing to induct Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) to the government as per the agreement. RSS
