Surkhet, Feb. 13: The Karnali Province government is set to launch a 'farmer pension programme' from this year around.
The Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperative Ministry is planning to provide pension to the farmers within a ceiling of Rs 10 million, a budget earmarked in the current fiscal year.
It is shared that the pension scheme was arranged with budgetary allocation to incentivize farmers and boost up agro productivity.
