Kathmandu, Feb. 7: Nepal has retained its preceding position of 161st in the FIFA rankings made public on Thursday.
This time no South Asian countries have made it to the top 100th position. India has climbed down sixth position to 103rd. Likewise, Maldives has been ranked 152nd, while Bhutan 168th, Bangladesh 192nd and Sri Lanka 201st.
Meanwhile, Qatar has climbed up 38th position to remain in 55th. The rankings are topped by Belgium followed by France in the second, Brazil in the third, Croatia in the fourth and England in the fifth position. Likewise, Portugal secured sixth, Uruguay seventh, Switzerland eighth, Spain ninth, Denmark 10th and Argentina 11th position in the latest FIFA rankings. RSS
