Damauli, Nov. 16: Speaker of the House of the Representatives Krishna Bahadur Mahara has stressed on preserving and promoting the domestic cultures.
While inaugurating the 3rd Indigenous Nationalities Culture and Tourism Fair organized by the National Federation of Indigenous Nationalities, Tanahun chapter today, Speaker Mahara stressed on preserving the domestic culture as it was directly linked with history and nationality of the particular country.
On another note, speaker Mahara urged the government to forward the bills required for the full implementation of the constitution as some laws are still insufficient for the same.
He also said that there was some confusion among the three tiers of the governments in sharing the resources and jurisdiction but it would be resolved soon.
The fair was organized aimed at preserving and promoting domestic cultures, said Basundhara Gharti, coordinator of the organizing committee.
The fair will run until November 26. RSS
