Chitwan, Apr. 2: Around eight tons chicken meat being imported from India without quarantine checks have been taken under control.
The illegally imported poultry product being carried by a truck (UP 70 BT 1776) was seized from Bharatpur Metropolitan City-1 last night.
The local poultry farmers took control the chicken meat being transported to Kathmandu from Bhairahawa by producing fake quarantine slip and handed over to the District Police Office, Chitwan.
They seized the product with the help of CPN (MC)'s youth wing Young Communist League. RSS
