Sankhu, Jan. 31: The Metropolitan Police Circle at Bouddha in the capital city arrested nine gamblers along with Rs 80,000 in cash from a hotel in Jorpati on Wednesday night.
A police team deployed in plain clothes based on a tip off arrested the gamblers from a hotel run by Wangel Lama in Gokarneshowr Municipality-5, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Narendra Chand.
Those arrested ones are Anil Tamang, 23, from Kavre; Man Bahadur Khatri, 22, from Udayapur; 36-year-old Suklal Tamang from Ramechhap and others. Police said that case would be filed against the gamblers following further probe. RSS
