Pokhara, Nov. 18: The Artist Kshetralal Kayastha Foundation Pokhara on Friday announced the Nabin Kalashree Award of Rs 50,000 so as to encourage artists.
At a programme organized on the occasion of 75th birth anniversary of senior artist Kayastha, Foundation Chairperson Lok Prasad Gurung shared that the award will be given away to a person having substantial contributions to the art sector in very two years.
Inaugurating the 12th solo painting of artist Kayastha on the occasion, educationist George John said that the commitment of Kayastha to the art sector is example for all other art loving people.
At the programme, Creative Art Group Chairperson Biswo Raj Parajuli, Prof Dr Biswo Shrestha, Foundation Secretary Kamal Athak, joint-secretary Jyoti Gurung, member Binod Subedi, among others said that the establishment of the award would further inspire artists to their creations. RSS
