MUMBAI, Feb. 21: The Hindi version of the film 'The Ghazi Attack' collected Rs 1.50 crore nett on its first Monday (Day 4) taking its total to Rs 7.75 crore, as reported by Boxofficeindia.com. It had opened at Rs 1.50 crore and went on to collect Rs 2.25 crore and Rs 2.50 crore on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
According to the film's producers, the Hindi version collected Rs 1.55 crore on Monday. According to them, the total Day 4 collections of the film in all three languages (Hindi, Tamil and Telugu) stand at Rs 3.65 crore and the entire collections is Rs 19.40 crore. According to the makers the Day 5 collections of the Hindi version of the film stand at an impressive Rs 8.25 crore.
Directed by Sankalp Reddyy, the film is based on the mysterious sinking of the Pakistani war ship PNS Ghazi in the 1971 Indo-Pak War. Starring Rana Daggubati, Taapsee Pannu, Kay Kay Menon, Rahul Singh, Satyadev Kancharana and Atul Kulkarni, the film is claimed to be India's first film on war at sea.(TOI)
