Kathmandu, Jan. 9: Nepal lost to Pakistan by 9 wickets in the match held today under the 5th one-day blind world cup tournament.
In the match held at Zinnah Stadium of Pakistan, Nepal posted a total of 258 runs at the loss of 5 wickets in the stipulated 40 overs.
In reply, Pakistan surpassed the Nepali total in 19.1 overs at the loss of only one wicket. Badanar Munir scored 126 runs in 59 balls to accelerate the win.
For Nepal, Ramesh Bahadur Baniya top-scored with 59 runs followed by Padak Badaila who scored a half century.
Nepal will now face Bangladesh in its second match of the tournament to be held on Wednesday. RSS
