Fourth CAN Info-Tech-2075 to take place on February 8


Bharatpur, Jan. 24: The Fourth CAN Info-Tech-2075 is scheduled to take place on February 8-12 in Bharatpur, Chitwan.

The fair aims to spread awareness of potentiality and importance of information, technology and entertainment sector and build tech-friendly workforce and expose new technology of IT, said Bhanu Sharma, coordinator of the fair main organising committee.

The fair will be organised by the Federation of Computer Association Nepal, Chitwan, and the venue is the International Exhibition Centre in Bharatpur, it was shared at a press conference here today.

Preparations are in full swing for the fair with a slogan 'Chitwan's Prosperity: Information and Technology', said Sharma, also President of the CAN Federation, Chitwan. The total 80 stalls will be set up featuring various electronic appliances like mobiles, smart televisions, printers, laptops and desktop computers. Other entertainment and other activities like dance competition, quiz will add to the fair.

Entrance fee is Rs 50 for general people and Rs 25 for students. The fair is expected to be visited by around 150,000 people and transact Rs 7.8 million. RSS
