Pokhara, Aug. 8: Minister for Youth and Sports Rajendra Kumar KC has said that Pokhara was in high priority to organize some events of the 13th South Asian Games (SAG) that the country is hosting in 2019.
While inspecting Pokhara Stadium here today, Minister KC said that some SAG games could be organized here to make the city famous even through the sports as it was renowned for tourism. He even directed the authority concerned to complete the construction of Pokhara Stadium infrastructure on time.
Similarly, National Sports Council member secretary Keshab Bista shared that they were preparing to organize four to five games in Pokhara during the 13th SAG.
According to District Sports Development Committee Kaski Chief, Prakash Baral,a multipurpose covered hall was under construction in Pokhara Stadium. RSS
