Nepalgunj, June 4: Buddha Air is preparing to provide air flight services from Nepalgunj to New Delhi of India.
According to information shared at a press conference held here today, Buddha Air has requested the government to take up the issue at the policy level and on technicalities for the same with the government of India.
The private airlines company is preparing to run three flights a day in the Nepalgunj-Delhi route. An application for the same has been registered on Monday, Buddha Air Managing Director Birendra Bahadur Basnet said. Three flights including one at 7:00 am, another at 1:00 pm and the third at 7:00 pm has been planned with a target to serve at least 200 passengers daily, Basnet added.
However, it would require at least eight months for all the required preparation to be completed including transforming Ranjha airport terminal of Nepalgunj into an international one, adding security structures and establishing an immigration office, among others. RSS
