Chitwan, Dec. 17: A pedestrian died when a truck hit him at Bhateri along the Narayangarh-Muglin road section this morning.
A man, aged around 30, died when the truck (PN 88 A) en route to Chennai from Kathmandu knocked him.
According to the District Police Office Chitwan, the critically injured person breathed his last in course of treatment. The deceased is yet to be identified.
The truck was hit behind by another truck (Na 4 Kha 2729) which caused the Chennai-bound truck to lose it control and knock pedestrian, police further informed.
Police have taken control both the trucks and drivers. The accident took place at 3.00 am on Monday. RSS
