Kathmandu, Aug. 28: In a bid to promote football, encouraging the young ones, All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has launched grassroots football programme.
The ANFA has come up with work plans and activities to implement the programme, incorporating football in the district level.
The programme would however be formally launched from September 12.
ANFA's new programme has come in the wake of FIFA's football development scheme.
The programme would be implemented by involving children as young as 8 to 13 years in the football, shared ANFA's Vice-Chairman Upendra Man Singh.
