11 DIGs recommended for AIG appointment, 15 for DIG

Kathmandu, July 15: The Ministry of Home Affairs has recommended the names of 11 Deputy Inspectors of Police (DIGs) of Nepal Police for the promotion to the post of Additional Inspector General of Police (AIG)
The meeting of the Promotion Recommendation Committee under the Ministry Friday recommended the names of Bam Bahadur Bhandari, Jay Bahadur Chand , Devendra Subedi, Pashupati Upadhyay, Keshariraj Ghimire, Madhav Prasad Joshi, Bijay Lal Kayastha, Kamal Singh Bam, Mingmar Lama, Ran Bahadur Chand and Bijay Kumar Bhattarai for the promotion, according to the Ministry.
Likewise, the same meeting has recommended 15 Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) for the promotion to the DIG post. Those recommended are Sarbendra Khanal, Ramesh Prasad Kharel, Pushkar Karki, Uttam Karki, Bhog Bahadur Thapa, Puskal Raj Regmi, Pawan Prasad Kharel, Chhabilal Joshi, Manoj Neupane, Gyan Bikram Shah, Thule Rai, Sharad Chand, Dheeru Basnet, Pushpa Chandra Ranjit and Suresh Bikram Shah.
