Kathmandu, July 13: Chairperson of Integrated National Democracy Party (Nationalist), Dr Prakash Chandra Lohani suggested the government to spur investment in productive sector so as to keep economic development and prosperity.
Talking to journalists at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) after completing around two-month-long trip to the United States today, Dr Lohani said the big investments in productive sectors including local development, physical infrastructure, transport, agriculture, tourism and energy would create employment opportunities at large .
Her further said that it would have multidimensional impacts in social transformation.
Dr Lohani shared that he had urged the Nepali Diaspora having knowledge, skills and wealth to flow their investments to the homeland.
Chairperson Dr Lohani hinted at merger with the likeminded parties based on the organizational policy and principles and also pledged to strongly take ahead his party line.
Dr Lohani had attended the seventh conference of Non-Resident Nepali held at San Francisco on June 16-17 as a key note speaker. RSS
