Pokhara, Oct. 15: The Tamu Samaj UK, Mothers' group has donated one hundred thousand rupees to the flood survivors of Ribhan Pathe in Machhapuchre rural municipality-5.
Advisor to the group Laxmi Prasad Gurung handed over the amount to ward chair and disaster management committee coordinator Jum Bahadur Gurung on Saturday. Sixteen houses were completely damaged in the floods from the Humdi river last monsoon.
So far, Rs. 4.9 million has been collected as relief support from various organisations within and outside the country. The amount will be used to construct houses for the flood survivors, ward chair Gurung said. RSS
