Kathmandu, Sept 30: The Social Justice and Human Rights Committee under the Legislature-Parliament today has directed the government to bring the then enterpriser of Nepal Recreation Centre under the ambit of law. The centre was accused of not paying the tax to government and not providing the salary to the workers.
The committee meeting today directed the government to issue a red corner notice and arrest Shanti Chadda, Rakesh Badawa Shalini Badawa, Tularam Bhatta, among other enterpriser of the centre.
Similarly, the meeting has directed the Ministries of Home Affairs, Culture and Tourism to inform the committee regarding the progress in this connection within a month.
The committee further directs the concerned bodies to collect the tax from the centre and to provide the salary to the workers.
The committee has directed the government to present the bill regarding to casino management as such laws were not enforced so far.
