Rampur, Palpa, Feb. 11: As many as 141 people benefitted from a free eye check-up camp set up at Sahalkot , a remote village at Nisdi rural municipality in Palpa district.
The eye camp was organised here on Saturday by the Janbikas Parichalan Kendra, a local NGO, with support from Rampur Savings and Credit Cooperatives. The Kaligandaki Eye Care Centre provided the technical assistance.
Out of the 141 people who underwent free eye examination at the camp, 14 people were found to be suffering from cataract. The eye patients were also provided with free medicines on the occasion. Locals were very happy to avail the free eye check-up and medicines at their locality, said Prem Bakabal, one of the beneficiaries. RSS
