Dolpa, Feb. 17: Tripurasundari municipality residents are forced to live in darkness since the past two week, after regular power supply stopped.
The problem was a result of a technical snag at the Chalgaad micro-hydropower project that supplies power to the municipality. The generator of the project is reported to have malfunctioned.
As a result, residents of Tripurakot, Galli, Karelikanda, Bagar are forced to live in darkness. Government services have been affected while communication has become a problem as people have not been able to charge their mobile phones, said local resident Harischandra Bista. RSS
