Kanchanpur, Feb. 27: The Nepal Red Cross Society Kanchanpur chapter has distributed relief materials to the families affected from the demolition of their houses by the wild tuskers in Shuklaphanta Municipality-3.
A total of 41 families were provided with the support materials on Monday. Red Cross activist Ganesh Joshi said that the affected families were given tarps, cooking utensils and other items needed for basic living.
Distributing the relief materials, Mayor of the Municipality Dil Bahadur Yer said that the Red Cross did benevolent act by supporting the needy people.
Prior to this, Red Cross had also supported the families displaced from the wild tuskers in Tarapur camp. RSS
