Kathmandu, Jan. 20: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has designated the responsibility of Acting Prime Minster to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence Ishwor Pokharel.
President Bhandari, on the recommendation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, entrusted DPM Pokharel with the responsibility of acting Prime Minister.
PM Oli has left for Davos, Switzerland today to take part in the 49th Annual meeting of World Economic Forum (WEF).
Spokesperson of the President’s Office Chabindra Parajuli informed that the President assigned DPM and Minister for Defence Pokharel as the acting PM to look after the day-to-day administration of the country in absence of Prime Minister Oli. RSS
