Kathmandu, Jan. 8: The Fourth National Yoga Day is being marked on 1 Magh (January 15) with the slogan of 'Yoga for Peace and Prosperity'.
A main organizing committee has been formed under the leadership of Minister for Education, Science and Technology Girirajmani Pokharel comprising the representatives of more than 100 social organizations.
Likewise, a sub-committee has been formed under the coordination of Education Secretary Khagaraj Baral, according to member of main organizing committee Dr Hari Prasad Pokharel.
It is said that the Yoga Day would be marked for a week across the country by organizing different programmes.
Similarly, a workshop would be organized on January 21, the final day of the week-long event.
In 2015, the Council of Ministers had decided to mark the National Yoga Day on Magh 1 and the Ministry of Education was given the responsibility for the coordination. RSS
