Kailali, July 20: Nepali Congress leader Prakash Man Singh on Friday said the NC would play a role of strong opposition by raising voices of the people in the parliament.
He accused the incumbent government with two-thirds majority of failing to prioritise the people and making the people feel the presence of a government.
"The government has forced the agitating Dr Gobinda KC to go to Kathmandu from Jumla by charging baton and opening fires. But the NC is raising voice from the streets to parliament demanding government to save life of Dr KC," he said while speaking at a press conference organised at Dhangadhi Airport by the Nepal Press Union, Kailali Chapter.
However, the protest programmes to be launched by the NC in the coming days would be peaceful, said the former NC General Secretary. RSS
