Kathmandu, Nov. 23: The NB Insurance Company Limited has been transferred to IME General Insurance Limited, as per the decision of the Beema Samiti.
The company had been providing non-life or general insurance service since the past 20 years. It is now owned and run by the IME group. The company has a paid-up capital of Rs. 540 million and the new company has submitted a plan before the Beema Samiti to reach it to above one billion rupees, according to the IME Group Managing Director and the Company Chair Hemraj Dhakal.
