Kathmandu, Oct. 25: Nepal’s position in the FIFA ranking has dropped by a step, to stand at 161st position.
In the latest ranking the FIFA released on Thursday, India leads the chart for the South Asian countries, standing at 97th position, followed by Maldives (151st), Bhutan (188th), Bangladesh (194th), Pakistan (199th) and Sri-Lanka (201st) Afghanistan (154th) and Bhutan (163rd).
Belgium is in the first position while France in the second in the FIFA world ranking.
Similarly, Brazil is in the third position while Croatia the fourth, England the fifth, Uruguay the sixth, Portugal the seventh, Switzerland the eighth, Spain the ninth and Denmark the 10th. RSS
