Kathmandu, Mar. 6: The Rastriya Janata Party Nepal (RJPN) has withdrawn its support to the incumbent government.
A meeting of the RJPN Presidium held today took the official decision to withdraw support to the government, informed Mahendra Roy Yadav, coordinator of the Presidium.
The party came up with the decision after the Kailali District Court sentenced Resham Chaudhary, RJPN parliamentarian from Kailali, to life-long imprisonment on Tikapur carnage, reads a press release issued by the party on Wednesday.
In the statement, the party said it was shocked and saddened from the verdict of the district court on the case. RSS
