Kathmandu, Nov. 17: CPN (UML) senior leader Jhalanath Khanal has blamed the government and ruling parties for violating the elections code of conduct.
At a news conference organised at party headquarters, Dhumrabarahi, on Friday, leader Khanal said that the government violated the elections code of conduct even by transferring some 500 police personnel and the Nepali Congress by publishing the election manifesto in multiple colours.
He said, "The government itself has been carrying out activities in order to affect election. The Election Commission should stop such activities soon."
The CPN (UML) senior leader said that journey of nationality, democracy and prosperity of country would get momentum after the victory of the left alliance.
He added that there would be unification between the CPN (UML) and CPN (Maoist Centre) after the elections. RSS
