Parbat, Aug 6: A couple here donated a land worth amounting to Rs 3 million for the construction of a health post building in the village.
Chhatra Bahadur Kshyatri, a local, and his wife Bhadrakala Kshyatri donated five aana land for the construction of a building of health facility at Kushma municipality-2, Khurkot in Parbat.
Chhatra Bahadur said the land donation was made in memory of their departed son, Khadka Bahadur Kshyatri, to support the objective of expanding reach of health services to the rural people.
Khadka Bahadur died in Saudi Arab some 12 years ago where he was there in course of foreign employment.
Kushma municipality mayor Ram Chandra Joshi and ward no. 2 chairperson Yadunath Bastola had honoured the Kshyatri couple with shawl in recognition of their contribution to the health sector development in locality. RSS
