Ratnanagar, Chitwan, Nov. 28: Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal, has said people wish for my leadership to see development and prosperity in the country.
During an interaction organized by Reporters' Club at Bharatpur Tuesday, Chairman Dahal claimed that such wish of the people was the result of his works devoted to people and the nation.
Also the election candidate for the member of the House of Representatives from Chitwan Constituency No 3, and the former prime minister, Chairman Dahal said he would not let people's aspiration go unheard. "The same leader hardly gets opportunity in life to lead conflict, peace process, constitution writing and democratic process," he praised himself.
Moreover, he said the leftist alliance is the need of the day. "I've not betrayed Nepali Congress, as Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba was informed well before announcing the leftist unity. As the Maoist Centre is still in government, it would collaborate with NC in future too."
He further argued that it was the time need to forge alliance with those having similar ideology and thoughts.
"I've planned the development of Chitwan meeting the Asian standard," he shared his ambition. RSS
