Itahari, Aug 18: Secretary of ward no. 10 of Itahari sub-metropolis Bidur Regmi has been arrested on the charge of accepting a bribe from a service recipient.
He was arrested from the Rojak momo house in Itahari-6 on Friday evening along with evidence of him receiving Rs. 13,000 in bribe money for providing a registration certificate to run a hotel, according to the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority. Regmi is under custody at the CIAA office in Itahari for necessary investigation. RSS
