Pokhara, Nov. 8: The first national gathering of Bonpo Lama Monks of Tamu Community is going to be organised in Pokhara from November 10. Kaski District Working Committee of the Tamu Pye Lhu Association is organising the gathering.
At a press conference organised here on Tuesday, Programme Coordinator Uma Bahadur Phachyu Tamu said that they are going o organise the three-day gathering with an objective of collecting data of Bonpo Lama and their identity.
Saying some 200 Bonpo Lama Monks would participate in the gathering, he said that discussion would be held on various issues including protection and promotion of Bonpo Lama and action plan for the upliftment. RSS
