Nuwakot, Jan. 26: Kispang rural municipality has been declared the open defecation free zone on Thursday.
Former parliamentarian and Nepali Congress leader Bahadur Singh Lama declared Kispang as fifth open defecation free rural municipality of the district with the construction of toilets in all 953 households of Kispang-3, Kaule.
The open defecation zone was declared following the construction of toilets in 4,186 households of five wards of the rural municipality.
Rural municipality Chairperson Chhatra Bahadur Lama said that their next focus would be to provide pure drinking water to all households of the rural municipality after the availability of toilets in each houses. RSS
